New Kitchen for a time poor professional
This lovely family home overlooking the Derwent River and Cadbury factory had been renovated significantly. Changing circumstances meant the last piece of the puzzle was to update the kitchen and get the property on the market to make way for a new life.
Previous renovations had addressed the bathrooms, laundry & living areas, and it was now high time for a new kitchen to replace the very dated and ill functioning original - yet to also be in keeping with the flow of the home.
The brief by the owner was to replace the existing by creating a budget conscience, modern workspace which could withstand the needs of a young family and perhaps most importantly, bring a wow factor to the home to maximise resale potential.
A soft, refined colour palette was selected in cool white and grey tones. A new pantry was created with plenty of draws and storage space. Quality sink & tapware, appliances and finishes selected to ensure functionality & longevity. An acrylic benchtop was selected & installed to prevent unsightly joins associated with a typical 'U' shape kitchen.
The finished product became the focal point for the family home and was the clear winner for a very fast sale of the property later in the same year.
